Drink more Coffee if you want to Live Long

Coffee: The more it seems addictive and people saying its wrong the more science tries to figure an alternative. They say one mans food is another’s poison.

Well its goodnews for all coffee lovers as new research published on Monday, 10th July says greater consumption of coffee could lead to longer life.
The first research which was carried out in 10 European countries on over 520,000 people and second on non-white populations on over 185,000 African-Americans, Native Americans, Hawaiians, Japanese-Americans, Latinos and whites, reveals that drinking more coffee could improve mans chances of living longer.

The People who drank two to four cups a day had an 18% lower risk of death compared with people who did not drink coffee, according to the study. These findings are consistent with previous studies that had looked at majority white populations, said Veronica Wendy Setiawan, associate professor of preventative medicine at USC’s Keck School of Medicine, who led the study on nonwhite populations.

More cofffee intake can also help with internal diseases like heart disease, cancer, respiratory disease, stroke, diabetes and kidney disease.

The study on European countries revealed an inverse association between coffee and liver disease, suicide in men, cancer in women, digestive diseases and circulatory diseases. Those who drank three or more cups a day had a lower risk for all-cause death than people who did not drink coffee.

Fact also have it that people who drink coffee tend to have lower levels of inflammation, healthier lipid profiles and better glucose control compared with those who do not.

Now that you know, how about grabbing a cup of hot coffee?
