Don Jazzy remembers Dr Ameyo Stella Adadevoh who died after contracting the dreaded Ebola virus.
Ameyo Adadevoh was a Nigerian physician credited with having curbed a wider spread of the Ebola virus in Nigeria by placing the patient zero, Patrick Sawyer, in quarantine despite pressure from the Liberian government.
On his remembrance
caption, Don Jazzy says –
We lost one of Nigeria’s best and courageous physicians, Dr Ameyo Stella Adadevoh, on this day in 2014. She was one of the front line doctors who helped curb the spread of the Ebola epidemic in Nigeria. The life-endagering roles she played will always be remebered. R.I.P Heroine.
19th August is always her day in Nigeria history.
