Water is a liquid substance, that could be from rain, river or lake and ocean,it could be extracted from ice or steam.
World Water Day is celebrated on every March 22 on yearly basis by United Nation since 1993.
The purpose of celebrating water is to appreciate its importance and to raise awareness about worldly water crisis and for the 2 billion people living without access to safer water across the world.
The aim of 2023 World Water Day celebration is to achieve the vision of SDG 6 towards the vision of sustainable water and sanitation for all by 2030 according to United Nation’s report.
World Water Day can be celebrated by organising programmes educating people on importance of freshwater in the society and to institutionalize water projects particularly in the rural areas.
As no one survives without water, it is pertinent to have access to it and a saver one.
It is quite important to note the qualities of freshwater in every society and for all the people both in the urban and the rural areas populace to be beneficiary of quality water in all ramifications.
