EDO 2020: ON OBASEKI AND CHAMELEONS: For taking a principled position against the continuation of a combative and quarrelsome Governor in Edo state, the government has opened its manger to unleash attack dogs on me.

They fail to address my submissions but punch my person. When a government is a scam, it gets weary of criticism. They preach accountability in government but you will never see the cost of projects. They preach openness, but what you get is opaqueness.

A truly accountable government will publish cost of projects so that the people can interrogate them. You have renovated Ogbe stadium, at what cost? You repainted secretariat buildings, at what cost?

You built technology hub, at what cost? You allow flooding to take over Edo state because of your refusal to desilt the drains. You promise market women money to rebuild burnt markets, but you failed to fulfil your promise. PDP scored you F9 in all the critical sectors of the Edo economy, yet you grabbed their ticket to save your failures. And you want me to jump up to support such contradiction?
