Edo 2020: Think Edo, Think Obaseki and Shaibu – Edo Deejays

Benin City: Ahead of the Edo 2020 gubernatorial election slated for September 19th, a pioneer remarkable Entertainment body under the aegis of ‘Edo Deejays Movement for Obaseki’ has added their voice to the sensitization of Edo people on the need to vote for the Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Mr. Godwin Obaseki and Deputy, Philip Shaibu.

 

In an interview with Mega House Tv, the Convener of the movement, Mr. Scott Ogunseri popularly known as ‘Dj MOG’ said the group decided to support the reelection bid of the Governor due to his visible developmental stride and blueprint in reshaping and restructuring the society.


He however used the medium to craved the indulgence of Edo people to shun electoral violence, adding that vote is not a war affair, but an exercise to decide who wears the leadership cap of governance.

In his word, “As part of our support for the reelection of Governor Godwin Obaseki and His Deputy, Rt. Hon. Philip Shaibu, we the Members of ‘Edo Deejays Movement for Obaseki wholeheartedly join other lovers of good governance to sensitize Edo people to vote for PDP for continuous prosperity and development in Edo State. For the youths, don’t be used as a political thug, it is a condemnable act. Say No to election violence”.


Mega House Tv however gathered that ‘Dj MOG’ is one of the numerous youths who have decided to support the Governor from their own personal resources, all in quest for achieving a developed Edo State, adding that most of those politicians who are against Governor Obaseki are fighting for their personal interests and not of the Edo people.
