Edo people to start Oshiomhole must go protest in Abuja

Edo people Reveal Plans to Stage Massive ‘Oshiomhole must go’ Protest in Abuja The immediate past Speaker of Edo Assembly and Special Adviser to Edo State Governor on Parliamentary Affairs, Rt.Hon.(Alhaji) Kabiru Adjoto has said the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Adams Oshiomhole was driving himself into Irredeemable political oblivion as a result of sheer greed and hypocrisy.

Adjoto stated this yesterday while addressing his teeming supporters across Akoko-Edo Local Government Area of Edo State who thronged Ikakumo, his country-home.

The former Speaker empathetically noted that Oshiomhole had played God severely by hypocritically reversing himself on principles that fetched him enormous political fortunes.

“Oshiomhole became governor on the heels of fighting godfatherism and tenets of ‘one man, one vote’; he has now turned himself into not just a godfather but an untamed emperor who is fully out to ruin the gains of democracy, he has also at different fora ridiculed the nation’s judiciary which gave him the ladder to climb power”.

“As I promised few months ago, I’m vigorously set to open horrible can of worms that will make Edo people stone Oshiomhole on the street as we enter the new year”.

“I am also championing a massive ‘Oshiomhole Must Go’ protest which will kick off early next year with thousands of corroborators across the thirty-six states of the federation; the protest will be unabated till Oshiomhole honourably resigns before he buries APC”, he revealed.

Adjoto described the rumor of the governor’s planned defection as baseless, noting that the governor will enjoy the ‘Privilege of First Refusal’ during the forthcoming APC governorship Primaries as enjoyed by Oshiomhole in 2012.

During the visit, the Woman Leader of APC,Ward 7 (Akoko-Edo), Mrs Victoria Balogun described Rt. Hon Kabiru Adjoto as a grassroot politician with cult of followership because he has made positive impacts in the lives of the people.

All Political leaders present assured the former speaker of their unflinching support for the re-election of Governor Godwin Obaseki.
