Edo APC Primary: Orhionmwon South APC leaders and Ward Chairmen meet.

–  reiterates support for Indirect mode of Primary.

 

The Orhionmwon South APC meeting which was called at the instance of the Apex leader, Orhionmwon South, Hon. Newman Ugiagbe was to Affirm the resolution by the APC State Chapter to adopt the indirect mode of primary, citing Increase of the COVID-19 cases as a major Concern.

 

Speaking at the meeting, Hon. Newman Ugiagbe urged the party leaders to leave no stone unturned in their efforts to ensure Obaseki emerges victorious in the forthcoming Edo State APC Primary Election.

 

“Orhionmwon South must queue behind Obaseki and deliver him in the upcoming primary” he said.

Ugiagbe stressed that ‘Continuity is the only way Government can solidify its Developmental Strides in the State.”

 

In addition, the House leader, Edo state house of Assembly, Hon. Roland Asoro re-echoed the readiness of Mr Governor to continue in his effort to seeing development get to the grass roots of the 192 wards of the State, therefore must be given a chance to continue the good works by giving him all the votes at the primary.

 

Also, the Council Boss, Orhionmwon LGA, Hon. Sylvester Okoro boldly expressed confidence that Governor Obaseki will easily carry the day in Orhionmwon South with the level of high support base he currently enjoys in the LGA.

 

Concluding, Hon. Newman Ugiagbe Apreciated thanked the Ward Chairmen, Executives and leaders for finding time to be in the meeting and pleaded they carry the Goodwill message of the Governor to those at the Grassroots as they will be Counting on them for the General Elections.

 

He said “We have already won the primary because God is with Obaseki.”

 

Three Leaders each from the six wards in Orhionmwon South were in attendance along with the Six ward Chairmen. Also present were Ambassador Wesley Asoro and Prof. Festus Imuetinyan.
