EIDL FITR MESSAGE FROM HON. PRINCESS FOLASHADE OLABANJI-OBA

HON. PRINCESS FOLASHADE OLABANJI-OBA

EIDL FITR MESSAGE FROM HON. PRINCESS FOLASHADE OLABANJI-OBA , NATIONAL DEPUTY CHAIRMAN, ASSOCIATION OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT VICE CHAIRMEN OF NIGERIA

I am most  thankful and grateful to God  for giving  us the grace  to witness the end of Ramadan. It is indeed glorifying.

Ramadan is no doubt an holy month, a period of sober reflection, a time to seek forgiveness  of all sins and drop all despicable acts. On that note, I urge  all and sundry to maintain the goodness, peace , and charitable deeds like sharing of love and gifts to one another significantly to the poor and  less privileged among us as demonstrated during fasting.

The Holy Prophet Muhammed (SAW) even admonished us to practice all these good deeds not only during this holy month but always. These are critical periods as government at all levels move to consolidate on the gains of our democratic rule, we must be vigilant at all times and avoid actions and utterances that breach public peace…I therefore beg you all  not to relent in showing love and please eschew violence .

I  also beg most especially our youths to be remorseful and totally deviate from all the social vices  abstained from during Ramadan.. We must not relent in being our brothers keeper. We must make  our societies better than we met it…

On this note, on behalf of our National Chairman, my humble self, the entire Exco and and Honourable members of this great association .. WE WANT TO WISH  ALL OUR MUSLIM BROTHERS AND SISTERS A HAPPY CELEBRATION…

I pray that we will witness many more Ramadan. Wishing you all a blissful, rewarding and Happy Eid Mubarak

EID MUBARAQ
