The moment we stop talking about things that matters, then we face and dance to the tunes of Injustice. Few months ago, there was a movement on social media across the 36 states in Nigeria tagged #OPPRESSION END SARZ due to their unlawful and unauthorized oppressions like stopping Nigeria youths on moving vehicles, forcefully gaining access to mobile phones all in the name of searching, carrying out unauthorized house searching which are unlawful, and ever since then the INSPECTOR GENERAL OF POLICE banned them from conducting stop and search activities, but changes have  even sighted all in most states but not in my state, our state, Ekiti state.
Eksuites do you know. “Section 33(2a of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,1999 (hereinafter referred to as the Constitution) provides amongst other things that a person is entitled to take lawful steps in defending his property.

On the other hand, section 41 of the Constitution generally provides that every citizen of Nigeria is “entitled to move freely throughout Nigeria”.
We have rights, we aren’t meant to be stopped on highways, it’s very unlawful, but everywhere around the school areas of Ekiti state university is now their new headquarters, patrolling and looking for innocent victims, some even go to the extent of threatening Nigeria students, our special anti robbery squad now have POS machines and even car charges of almost all the phones in the world in their vehicles just to make their unlawful and right threatening operations easy, yet we are students who should know our own civic rights.
I ALADEDAHUNSI TEMITOPE have never been stopped or harassed by any police officer but I’ve witnessed scenes where students are treated like animals, and will always do my best to fight against it.

EKSUITES are scholars in making, let us move freely. An average youth of Ekiti can’t move from Iworoko to Ado town peacefully. SARZ who should be agents of peace will turn themselves to scene makers creating traffics on the high way, it’s saddening, uncalled for, unlawful, it’s against the constitution, my phone and yours should be our privacy, only a search warrant will make me unlock it for any police man, because forcing youths to open their phones is equivalent to forcefully requesting for one’s ATM pin, they are all meant  to be private.

This issue should be addressed by the fatherly and prestigious COMMISSIONER OF POLICE IN EKITI STATE and the government present and to come.
#ENOUGH IS ENOUGH
#EKITI YOUTHS SAY NO TO HARRASMENT
#WE WANT FREEDOM, ABSOLUTE FREEDOM
