Monday, 21st June was for the Iroko of Anambra State, Dr. Godwin Maduka, as he celebrated his birthday; lovely more it came a day after Fathers Day, a sign many have accepted as a divine sign for thumb print.
The Governorship Candidate under People’s Democratic Party, started his day with prayers and thanksgiving at home, then moved on to AIT, where he talk about his chances to become the Governorship candidate of Anambra State.

A senator, representing the state, Uche Ekwunife joined family, friends and well-wishers of the American-trained Medical Doctor to thank God for his blessings upon his life.

Speaking further, the Achievers group wondered why the federal government has not deemed it needful to decorate Okosisi Orumba with the national honour of Grand Commander of the Federal Republic and seek ways it can partner with him in developing critical infrastructure in the healthcare sector in Nigeria, having made success out of the profession in the United States with six flourishing medical centres which are reference points in pain management.
The group urged Dr Godwin Maduka to deploy and leverage on his international contacts in medicine to assist the State government in their effort to make medical training here the best and most competitive in the country.
Concluding, they called on the Catholic bishops in Anambra to recommend Dr Godwin Maduka as a papal Knight for using his God’s given gift in changing the course of humanity.
They prayed God to continue to bestow on him the wisdom and sound health for more impact in the society.
