Ekwunife welcomes Tony Nwoye back to PDP

The Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Uche Ekwunife has welcomed a former Governorship Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Founder, Tony Nwoye Foundation, Dr. Tony Nwoye, back to the PDP.

 

Senator Ekwunife says she received news of his return to the party with gladness, noting that that Dr. Nwoye’s decision to rejoin the party is a testimony to the fact that the PDP is a party where the finest politicians and people of goodwill converge to proffer and implement solutions to the challenges facing the nation.

Ekwunife welcomes Tony Nwoye back to PDP

A statement  by Kingsley Ubani, SA Media to the Senator notes that, “Ekwunife recognizes Dr. Nwoye as an important addition to the growing membership of the leading opposition party in the State. She commends Nwoye who is equally a former State Chairman of the party for returning home.”

 

“The Senator insists that the PDP remains the most accommodating and people-oriented political party in Anambra State and Nigeria, and as such having the likes of Dr. Nwoye who has impacted the lives of many through his philanthropic and political activities is a plus for the party.

“Ekwunife wishes Ayaka Nsugbe well as he returns to the PDP family and urges him to sustain the fine disposition he has established in the State’s political scene as he becomes a member of the leading opposition party in the State.”
