Following the postponement of General Elections in Nigeria, the Lagos state Director General of Education Quality Assurance, Ronke Soyombo, on behalf of the Deputy Governor, Dr. Idiat Adebule, has given fresh directives for immediate resumption.

All schools in the state are now to resume on Monday, February 18th, 2019.

Schools in the state had earlier directed pupils and students to go on holiday from February 13 to February 18, 2019 for the first round of elections.

Soyombo said the elections will lead to a further review the 2018/19 school academic calendar.

“All public and private schools, school leaders and school associations should take note and adhere strictly.”
