Total Union Executives of Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti held a meeting with the School Management on Friday the 18th of March. The meeting seemed to have ended in stalemate as the Union through her Chairman, Engr. Adubi frowned at the redeployment of 2 of their members from BAM Department where such move is considered unjust and a sort of witch-hunting by the management.
The School management was thereby given 3 weeks ultimatum to reverse this erroneous act, meanwhile, after the debriefing, the Congress resolved there should be an immediate activation of work-to-rule tactic where all members will sit at their various offices and won’t go for lectures and they won’t attend any academic activities until the letters are withdrawn.
“The 21 days ultimatum starts instantly and any further delay or recalcitrant dumb headedness by the management, the union will left with no other option than to withdraw the service of her members” the Chairman said.
