Three persons feared dead while some operatives of the Directorate of State Security Service (DSS) are missing following a clash with members of Indigenous People of Biafa (IPOB) on Sunday at Enugu State.
The clash, which reportedly started between the DSS and IPOB members holding a meeting in Emene, Enugu lasted for several hours.
Men of the DSS had gone to Emene to stop the IPOB meeting when the fight ensued.
According to The Nation police and army were later mobilised to give back up to the DSS operatives.
Unspecified operatives of DSS were reported to have gone missing while three persons have been confirmed dead as at the time of this report.
Political commentator, Obinna Nwosu confirms the three dead persons are IPOB members.
“The Nigerian armed forces just killed three armless IPOB members. Those boys were not given options for rehabilitation. Rehabilitation is reserved only for those who kill.” he tweeted.
An eyewitness said over 10 IPOB members were also arrested.
The Enugu state Police PRO, ASP Daniel Ekea, couldn’t be reached for comments as several calls to his line were not picked.

Isn’t it possible though that some of those dead IPOB boys are MAGA apostles? Even if they’re not, shouldn’t Donald Trump say something about the mindless extra-judicial killings by security forces in Nigeria? Idiots on all sides.
Those two IPOB members killed by the Nigerian regime and those wounded were not theorizing. They are actually taking action in the struggle. Protests is part of the struggle actions. Those calling IPOB actions theory, should have a rethink
