Enugu: NASS is an existential threat to Nigeria…..a great clog in the wheel of progress – Itaco

My Brothers and Sisters in Enugu, your son,the Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekwerenmadu watched budget of N2bn proposal for Enugu Terminal Airport by PMB slashed to N500m . He will accuse PMB of not supporting development in SE tomorrow .

Deputy Senate President Ike Ekwerenmadu “Our Son” and his fellow Senators and House of Rep Members will go and say this Awusa man don’t like us. But they didn’t object to this reduction? Hope u will point this their actions to them.
And the SS Senators  too watched when the East/West road and the Maritime University in Delta State budget was slashed. Ben Bruce will now come and be forming one senseless common sense for himself here.

These Senators keep romancing Saraki’s ego, didn’t oppose the cut in the budget for projects in their zones but will  come to the Social Media tomorrow and shout about marginalization blaming PMB.
Furthermore, the NASS cut down on amounts budgeted for critical capital projects, but in the same vein increased their own budget by a whooping N14.5bn!, from N125 billion to N139.5 billion.
Counterpart funding for critical capital projects; Mambilla Power Plant, 2nd Niger Bridge/ancillary roads, East-West Road, Bonny-Bodo Road, Lagos-Ibadan Exp & Itakpe-Ajaokuta Rail Project, cut by total of N11.5bn.

Honestly, this NASS is an existential threat to Nigeria…..a great clog in the wheel of progress…the biggest threat to our development and democracy.

Itaco.
