Enugu: Nollywood set to unveil new Movie Stars

The Actors Guil of Nigeria is setto unveil new movie stars come, Saturday, 6th July, 2019.

News worthy is the fact that 70% of Nollywood Stars, Super Stars, Mega Stars and Legends hail from Nigeria’s southeast region.

This year, the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) Southeast Zone in its 2019 Valedictory Awards / Party will unveil the stakeholders choices for the year.

Speaking to newsmen at the flag off of the event’s program in Enugu, the National Vice President Southeast AGN, Barr. Ikechukwu Ezenagu noted that this year’s unveiling will be unique.

He explained that this time, stakeholders of the AGN from the five southeastern states voted in an orderly and respectable fashion, to determine award nominees and recipients from acting, comedy, directing, photography, production management, costuming and sets. Also, giving assurance that the stars to be unveiled would as usual, match international standards and hopefully take over from the old breed in the industry, nationally.

The awards party event which will be held on Saturday at Owerri, Imo state, will have top celebrities in film making appearing as Special Guests and Awardees.

It will also feature special performances and side attractions typical of the razzmatazz of the movie industry.
