ESN, IPOB Not Nigeria’s Problem But Boko Haram, Herdsmen – Iwuanyanwu

Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, Nigerian based billionaire businessman has blasted the federal government on the continued clampdown on the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Eastern Security Network (ESN), and Yoruba agitators.

The Igbo-born billionaire expressed bitterly on measures and approaches governments at various centers have used against rampaging insurgents in the country.

ESN, IPOB Not Nigeria’s Problem But Boko Haram, Herdsmen – Iwuanyanwu

He stated that both IPOB, ESN and popular Yoruba agitators are not the problem of Nigeria but Boko Haram and armed Fulani Herdsmen.

Comparing the disturbing armed groups, Iwuanyawu said the Biafra-Nigeria civil war of 1967 did not last up to six years but on the contrary, Boko Haram, Herdmen criminal activities have surpassed ten years and still counting yet nothing is done to end it.

He accused the military and federal government of feeding people with lies yearly on the continued fight against insurgency, adding that they are rather revolving at a place. He advised Nigeria’s president to consider using an offensive approach in combat to enable them to gain victory.

He also noted that the nature of Nigeria’s insecurity is defensive and security agencies must be offensive (taking back the attacks to their homes or wherever is known to be their hideouts).

He warned FG to stop attacking IPOB, ESN but haste up to stop the spreading killers who are across states causing mayhem.

He further brought the attention of President Mohammadu Buhari to a statement credited to Herders’ leadership that forests belong to them. He additionally maintained that such a statement should not be overlooked adding that in Igboland, forests are owned by people and not Herdsmen.
