ESN: MASSOB condemns military operation in Orlu, Orsu

Leadership of the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) has condemned the ongoing military operation in the Orlu and Orsu local government areas of Imo State.

The MASSOB leader, Uchenna Made, told The PUNCH on Thursday in Owerri that Nigerian soldiers were finding it easy fighting innocent persons but grow cold feet in combating Boko Haram and armed Fulani herdsmen.

ESN: MASSOB condemns military operation in Orlu, Orsu

He said “The leadership of the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra condemns the ongoing military onslaught against the people of Biafra in the Orlu province of Biafra.

“MASSOB is surprised that men of the Nigerian military can exhibit these high skills of both land and aerial combatant in a peaceful city like Orlu.

“Nigerians are blaming their government that the military personnel is not equipped to engage the Boko Haram, Arewa bandits and Fulani herdsmen ravaging the entire nation, but this genocidal military operation of the Nigeria government has proved that Nigeria military is equipped for the systematic elimination of the people of Biafra.

“MASSOB calls upon the international community and people-oriented Human rights organisations to intervene in the ongoing genocidal onslaught against the people of Biafra.”
