Ex Cross River Commissioner awarded Performance of excellence

The Cross River State immediate past commissioner for information and orientation, Barr Mrs Rosemary Archibong has been honoured with the award of Excellence in Honour of her Contributions in Cross River State Ministry Of Information and Orientation . Her award came in two folds as the initiative also made her a matron of the initiative in Bakassi local Government area of the state.

She further stated some achievement of the Ministry Under her watch as the commissioner as follows; the upgrade of CRBC V-SAT equipment, through the acquisition of Bandwidth Satellite which boosted signal reception beyond the state. Which of course entails payment of bandwidth license fees, which was done but expired, which explains the break experienced. Modalities worked out on how to sustain automatic renewal of the license.

Under her watch, a You-tube and two facebook platforms were created as sources of Government information database, not forgotting the Giant Strides MAGAZINES published by her Ministry, the Pidgin English Village Square TV program, the training seminars notably the seminar with the Theme THE CAN-DO SPIRIT that futured an international Life Coach, James Abiona as Guest Speaker. The purchase and installed equipment of the Digital Press which is an inherited project, the Newspaper Corporation building which is also an inherited project is handled in phases.
