Businessman and Governorship aspirant for the Anambra State Guber, Godwin Ezeemo, is calling for the re-write of the states story.
Ezeemo says, “We must go back to what sets us aside from the crowd,” adding that Anambra people needs “someone who understands and has a clear experience of business and modern economic development.”

“Anambra state is known from the saintly days of yore to be the epicenter of trade and commerce.
This unique identity placed it at the top of producing captains of industries and equally championing the course of producing viable employers of labour, good and services providers and lots of others.
The sustainability of this unique identity becomes Paramount at the wake of this democratic dispensation from 1999.
Taking a closer look at where the last governor of the state laid concrete emphasis will tell you that the tradition of raising entrepreneurs which inturn enhances job creation, improve the GDP of the state and reduce poverty rate in the state was given the positive nod.
In the light of this recent development, anyone who is familiar with the status quo of what makes Anambra state what it is can attest to the realities that there is a long deviation from the statue quo and thus the high rate of unemployment, decline in innovation and the massive rise in over dependence on GOVERNMENT which a typical Anambra person is not known for.
There is no gain pretending about it, this is not about who stands to gain or lose this is about the welfare of our population, Dubai became the world center of tourism within a space of 5 years.
Within same five years Anambra state is Gradually losing the touch of building entrepreneurs, such a decline in the principal pride of our state.
We can re-write the history from this shackles and parasite that has invaded our heritage and unique identity.
We must go back to what sets us aside from the crowd.
We need someone who understands and has a clear experience of business and modern economic development.
We must embrace the new gold which is entrepreneurship and only an entrepreneur can do this magic of restoring and rewriting this dieing history.”
