FREE PETROL TO SECURITY AND GOVT. AGENCIES IN ANAMBRA

Still in support to fighting COVID-19, the Anambra State government has announced free petrol for government securities and agencies in the state.

 

This is as a result of joint effort between the Anambra state branch of Petroleum Dealers Association (PEDAN) and National Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG) and the office of the SSA to the Governor of Anambra State on NUPENG Petroleum and Union Matters.

 

Led by Hon. Peter Nwosu, the group have earmarked three petrol stations in each of the three senatorial zones in Anambra State to dispense free petroleum products to health officials, security agencies and other State Government workers who are directly involved in the fight against COVID19.

 

This was contained in a statement issued by Amb Timothy Nwachukwu.
Executive Assistant to the SSA to the Governor of Anambra State on Nupeng Petroleum and Union Matters, Hon. Peter Nwosu after a meeting with the petroleum union leaders.

 

According to the statement, Hon. Peter Nwosu is working round the clock to ensure a free flow of Petroleum products in Anambra State.

 

Anambrarians are further reminded that the state government is committed to ensuring that petrol station sell at government approved price. The interest and welfare of Ndi Anambra is a priority to the State Government.

 

He further encouraged Ndi Anambra to obey all directives from the state government as the government work towards keeping Anambra State safe from Covid19 while also making petroleum products available at this critical time.

 

Hon. Peter Nwosu enjoins all Anambrarians to support the State Government efforts as it strive to protect the citizens and promote their welfare.
