Ginimbi, Mimi Moana and Limumba Karim have been confirmed dead following an auto crash at Borrowdale Road, Harare in Zimbabwe.
‘Ginimbi Kadungure’, a popular Harare socialite and businessman, died on the spot early Sunday morning, the 8th November, 2020 in a head-on car accident.
The Zimbabwe National police spokesperson, Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed the unfortunate incident.
“The accident occurred this morning along Borrowdale Road and it is alleged that Kadungure died on spot.
“We are still gathering more information on the issue,” he stated.
An exiled former minister Saviour Kasukuwere also confirmed Ginimbi’s death.
“This is unbearable. A young man who worked hard and enjoyed hard is no more! The flower has wilted! Go well Boss Ginimbi. MHDSRIP,” said Kasukuwere.

Sources say Ginimbi was speeding when he crashed and was thrown out of the vehicle, which later burst into flames.
On the car was Zimbabwen socialite and video vixen, Michelle Amuli, otherwise known as “Mimi Moana” and Cashgate-linked fugitive, “Limumba Karim”.
Mimmie Moana was a well known Zimbabwean actress, fitness bunny and media personality who gained a huge following on social media for serving body goals that would put most to shame. She starred in videos of prominent artists including Jah Prayzah in his song Munyaradzi, ExQ, Takura’s popular track Zvemoyo, Freeman’s track Muridzo and Enzo Ishall’s track Mwenje. She was quite famous for her fitness videos which she regurlaly posted online.
She died after being trapped in a car.
Ginimbi, following a night of party at Club Dreams in the nation’s capital, sped off on his Rolls Royce which later had a head-on collision with a blue Honda Fit. Mimi Moana had been celebrating her 26th birthday in the same club and same night.
Driver to the Blue Honda Fit survived the crash but sources say he is still in shock.
A relative told the media this that the businessman had two other passengers in his car who were “burnt beyond recognition”.
Moreso, Kadungure, according to the relative, managed to exit the car soon after the crash but died immediately.
The crash happened along a curve just before Hatcliff suburb on the road to Domboshava. The businessman owned a mansion in the peri-urban settlement. He was also the owner of Pioneer Gas and PIKO Group.
Other ladies also died in the car which burned to ashes.
According to a witness, Danny Kuwanga, who was the first person at the scene, “The girls didn’t make it out. They were just crying inside the burning car.”
““It happened in front of my eyes. He was speeding. He first overtook me and as he tried to overtake a second vehicle, that’s when he crashed into the Honda Fit driving the opposite way.”
Limumba Karim escaped justice from Malawi and was based in South Africa. He was indicted for fraud – Cashgate scandal, the biggest corruption scandal in Malawi’s history which happened in 2013.
Limumba is survived by three children.
