Give Igbos Biafra Independence, We’re Tired Of Them – Northerners Reply
Following the press statement released by Special Assistant, Media and Publicity to the Muhammadu Buhari, Garba Shehu on Sunday which revealed that IPOB is waging war against the Nigeria state internationally, some Northerners have urged the Nigerian government to allow Igbos(Biafrans) be on their own if that will solve the problem of the country.
Responding to this comment, one Audu Garba says, “Garba Shehu tells the president that we the northern talakawas are tired of living in one country with Igbos. So the best thing is to set up a time frame for Biafran independence. Just give them six months to relocate all their wealth to Southeast. By first January 2021, the national assembly should seat and give the final blessing to what is call Nigeria with Igbos. This is the only solution to this problem.
I think the 6 months suggested by Alhaji Garba Audi is too long a time. Let’s give them 2 months to relocate so that we experience absolute peace in Nigeria for the first time since independence. Today, we talk about Biafra, tomorrow, we hear Oduduwa Republic. The recent happening whereby these set of people were admitted into Unrepresented Nation and People Organization poses a VB great danger to us as a nation state. We should be bold enough to reject people who reject us
Biafra has to be set apart from Nigeria for the sake of peace for both the two region since time is still a bit better FGN has to do well…..
