I used the medium to seek the support of the financial institution in repositioning and rebranding our security network in order to ensure the socio-economic progress of the state. The issue of security is very germane to our administration and we will require their support and partnership. With adequate security, we can increase the ranking of our State on the global index of ease of doing business, by offering a peaceful and secured environment in our State to prospective investors.

As a government, we reiterated our desire to rebrand the State Security Trust Fund and dominate the team with distinguished personalities with proven integrity. This will give it the required trust, corporate branding and the assurance of having a judicious use of resources.

The Governor’s hope for this partnership is to also develop border areas with Lagos state.

“I intimated the visiting team of our administration’s resolve to guarantee access to the state leveraging on its proximity to Lagos State by developing the border areas.”
