Gov. Obaseki mourns Oredo APC leader, Francis Osazuwa

The Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, mourned the passing of Mr. Francis Agbontaen Osazuwa, a leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ward 2, Oredo Local Government Area (LGA), who died aged 70.



In a statement, the governor described the late ward leader as a tireless campaigner of good governance who contributed immensely to the development of his immediate community.

 

According to the governor, “It is with a heavy heart that I received the news of the passing of late Mr. Francis Agbontaen Osazuwa, a leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ward 2, Oredo Local Government Area (LGA).”

 

“Until his death, late Osazuwa was an advocate of people and a tireless campaigner of good governance, who made tremendous contributions to the development of the state and his immediate community.”



“Our party is deeply pained by this loss at this time when his knowledge, energy and influence are especially needed in the affairs of the party and state. We pray that God grants his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss,” Obaseki added.
