GOVERNOR ISHAKU’S “MERRY CHRISTMAS” FROM ABROAD

‘Allow all the citizens to buy AK47’ - Gov. Ishaku to FG

Darius Ishaku CHRISTMAS FROM ABROAD: It is a sad reality that while our Muslim Governors all over the North were quick to pay Local Government Salary for December to enable grassroot celebration of Christmas by the Christian Communities in their states, our Christian Governor in Taraba state who rode on religious sentiment to clinch to power, could not pay salary to Local Government.

All the Local Government Chairmen have deserted their LGA out of shame. CAN has become dumbfounded because they ordered pastors to campaign for the governor during election because he is a Christian of which they believe will protect the interest of Christianity. Now same man is destroying the reputation of CAN with inpunity and total disregard. Just imagine if Governor Darius were a Muslim. By now CAN would have let loose, claiming the Governor has an Islamic agenda against Tarabans that must be resisted. But now since DDI is their “God chosen” candidate, all they can do is to ask us to be patient with those in authority and pray for our leaders.

GOVERNOR ISHAKU'S "MERRY CHRISTMAS" FROM ABROAD

Indeed His Excellency Governor Darius Ishaku have truly humbled CAN in Taraba state. Next time Taraba mustn’t build their politics around CAN or Muslim Council, else we CAN’T contain the disappointment. Christians are not better of under this administration with a Christian in power, neither will Muslims be better of is such a leader were a Muslim. Southern Taraba is not better of despite having their own in power and no part of the state will be better of simply on the basis that the governor comes from their side. This should be a great lesson to us when it comes to leadership recruitment for public office. Leaders should be supported base on capacity and rich ideas, not on religious affiliation or other bias sentiment that profits no one at the end of the day.

The saddest part is our God-fearing Christian Governor is saying “Merry Christmas” to Tarabans from Abroad. Even Alh Bello Yero, the Permanent Secretary of Bureau for Local Government, put on a sad face when he told the Chairmen at the Joint Account Meeting, where state government plunders the Local government resources, that His Excellency ‘s absence will affect salaries before Christmas.

These Executive LGC Chairmen couldn’t believe their ears but because they were selected, not elected, they have nothing to say or do than to walk out shamefully. The Man they trusted and pledge allegiance to as a Political mentor is rubbishing their Political career in a broad day light without any iota of remorse.

It’s such a sad reality. No more coming to Takum to do “gabu shi gabu”. This is a minus to Jukun nation, a minus to Christianity, a minus to PDP and a minus to a self branded “Rescue administration”.

Your Excellency, are you telling us that you’re not a good person? This is not how to treat helpless people when you’re in powerful to put a smile on their faces especially in times like this during Covid 19 when Governments are busy providing succor to their people. We can’t fight you because we are powerless and poor. We leave you to God and posterity. Merry Christmas!!!
