Following the turbaning of Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu by the Otaru of Auchi at the Otaru’s Palace yesterday, pastors of the Redeemed Christian Church of God have moved against him by disowning him.
“He is not one of us. We are not like that in the Redeemed Christian Church of God” one of the senior pastors said.
Edo Times can also authoritatively confirmed that efforts by Pastor Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God to reach Osagie Ize-Iyamu over his turbaning in order to seek clarification has so far proved abortive.
Pastor Adeboye who was visibly worried on the negative image the turbaning might have on his ministry has told other pastors of the church to stay away from Ize-Iyamu until there is clarification over the desperate move to turn the Bible on its head.
Other members of Osagie Ize-Iyamu’s church have so far been quiet and unable to speak in public for fear of being suspended from the church for speaking against constituted authority.
