History Will Guide us Better; The Northern Political Implications

Why history is banned from the Nigeria education system remains a nightmare for the Southerners especially the Eastern region whose only crime is to struggle for the independence of Nigeria which the Northern region never participated in.

The Northern Nigeria’s region are afraid of the historical implication of the obvious when brought to the table especially when the discussion of restructuring is brought up. Most of the policies made to abolish history from our curriculum is carried out by the Northern elites and some foolish Southerners craving for stomach infrastructure. The Northern Leaders  doesn’t want their followers mostly the underdeveloped, underfunded and poverty striking indigenes who in majority are illiterates, whose basic necessities of life is denied from them by their so called Rulers from the inception of independence.

This elite Northern leaders are the most wicked, and stoned hearted Rulers any Northerners can ever get or be proud-of and who many hide under the  guise of religion in other to commit the most inhuman treatment in the history and establishment of Nigeria especially to Northerners. Their leaders haven’t represented the people uprightly. And they went further to deny them the truth about the foundation of “One Nigeria” which none never played part of or struggled for.

This Elites doesn’t want their people to get the depth knowledge about how Nigeria independence struggles came to being— Or how then, Sir James Robertson from Sudan assigned by the then fleeing British colonists, handed over to him to conduct an election which will oversee a Northerner with little or no knowledge about governance in the person of Alhaji Tafewa Balewa, becomes the first Prime Minister in a rigged and dubiously conducted election. This was done to maintain the British selfish interests on Nigeria numerous natural resources and till date, that system hasn’t changed as the very fraudulent constitution written by the majority Northerners adopted all the British fraudulent Northern dominance agenda for Nigeria. These Northerners in majority doesn’t value western education as a result, they were easily manipulated to serve the British agenda for Nigeria as all they could see in the interest of Nigeria is dominance and not sustenance. We’re all suffering the consequences of this very actions. Let point the fingers to who really damaged this country, heavens won’t fall. We need history to guide us better.

History is one factor and element that holds every nations in the world together. But come down to Western Africa and take a drive to Nigeria, History in this part of the world is history indeed! The Northern political structure doesn’t go well down south as they feel that they have nothing to offer and solely depends so much on the oil and other rich natural resources in the South, forgetting that the north too have gold, rice, and other rich resources. Let’s history be taught in the North just like their Islamic leaders are teaching them the Islamic inscriptions of ancient Islamic religion. There is need for us to educate the Northeners about the history of Nigeria cos this present generation doesn’t know about. if any of those elites ask them to go to war, they won’t waste time to embark on blinded and most foolish war. I don’t know what the Northern elites are afraid of.

If the people in the North have depth knowledge about the history of Nigeria they will have a rethink and a better focus and front the unity we need to make this country progress, but the Kings known as the Politicians, Islamic Leaders and other Teachers want to deprive them and feed them lies so as to keep  them in chains while they keep doing their bidding and making milking them dry. Most of this leaders children are all studying overseas with prestigious university so as to continue the chains of slavery on the few and underprivileged ones. The few educated Northers should ask questions! Read more about the country, Let’s not blame any Southerners for their  actions or attempt to divide the country, because with history, we can strengthen our country’s unity and front and better frontiers.

Most Elites says; “Western Education is evil”. The Northern elites are the promoters of Boko Haram, Alimajiri, Herdsmen, Bandits what you have it because of how underdeveloped and uneducated and religiously unaware the people are. One will wonder why so much emphasis on religion instead of development. Countries like Saudi Arabia, Turkey, etc are all developed Islamic countries with better, righteous and educated leaders not what we have in the north, Greedy, Selfish and Bigoted politicians/Leaders whose aim is to flood out majority of the under privileged citizens.

The young and vibrant youth must ask questions and take actions. The south is not your problem! The born to rule can’t fix your problems! History will direct you better. The elites are afraid you might know the truth, and the truth will set you all free. That’s what they  don’t  want you to know, the “truth”. Read, “There was a Country” by Chinua Achebe, for better understanding of the history of the country called Nigeria.
