The road is now clear for distinguished Hon. Babatunde Murtala Suleiman to take Akoko South-East to the next level after he won the House of Assembly primary election held on Thursday, 26th May, 2020.

 

Hon. Babatunde Murtala clinched the Akoko South-East local government constituency APC Ondo State ticket after defeating fellow contestant, Hon Shina Alaye.

 

He with 28 delegate votes while Hon Alaye got 3 votes out of the total delegates.

 

Better referred to as ”Young Alhaji”, the people of Akoko South-East have in many ways said it is him they want to represent them.
