The Lawmaker, representing Eleme/Tai/Obigbo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Chisom Dike, demonstrated an exemplary act in Okoloma-Afam, Obigbo Local Government Area of Rivers State.

Reacting to his act of kindness and rare benevolence, Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress and erstwhile National Publicity Secretary of the defunct New Peoples Democratic Party (nPDP), Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, said Hon. Chisom Dike, as a responsible Lawmaker, who feels the pulses of his people, knows the very exigency, essence and basic value of returning thanks, as succinctly enunciated by James Allen when he posited that “no duty is more urgent than that of returning thanks”, and further given credence by Jacques Maritain when he stated that “gratitude is the most exquisite form of courtesy”.

In a statement made available to media houses in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, Chief Eze said Chisom Dike, unlike the Federal and State Lawmakers from the People’s Democratic Party, is dutifully discharging his responsibilities in the green chambers, to the pride of his constituents and has continued to attract dividends of democracy to the good people of Tai, Eleme and Oyigbo Local government areas.

In line with the words of John C. Maxwell, that; “leadership is not about titles, positions, or flow charts … but about one life influencing another”, the Party Chieftain said the Lawmaker as part of his empowerment initiative gave out items such as hundreds of Motorcycles, hundreds of Sewing Machines, unaccountable Gasoline water pumps, hair dressing equipment, Cash etc to youths and women of his Constituency numbering over 2000 drawn across the three local council areas that form Eleme/Tai/Obigbo federal Constituency, in a special empowerment scheme held at Okoloma-Afam, Oyigbo, Rivers State.

Eze further highlighted that Hon. Dike’s rich political profile has created a magnificent and laudable antecedent which has set a precedent in the politics of Obigbo/Eleme/Tai Federal Constituency and has made him one of the most loved political figures in the state.

Commending Hon. Chisom Dike for daring to be different, Eze said it is important for those who have been called to serve to understand the existence of a social contract between them and the electorates, stressing that such knowledge will better interprets the aphorism; man lives not by bread alone, but by giving a little thought to the lives of other…”, as demonstrated by Chisom Dike, to his people.

Appreciating the distinguished member for his laudable contributions to his constituents, the beneficiaries from the three Local Government Areas that make up the Federal Constituency thanked and extolled Hon. Chisom Promise Dike for his kind gesture and also urged him to continue with his giant strides while Hon. Chisom Promise Dike in his remark stated that greater things lie ahead, “Better things are yet to come, what you see today is a tip of the iceberg” He noted that he will roll out another phase of the empowerment scheme which be bigger than this

Commending the people of Eleme/Tai/Obigbo Federal Constituency for their support for the All Progressives Congress, Chief Eze appealed for patience, assuring that after the 2023 elections, the APC-led River State Government will ensure that the people recover all their loses in hundreds folds.

Eze commends the Law Maker for working in tandem with Chief Gift Okere the Leader of the party in Oyigb and other stakeholders and with this type of spirit the Eleme/Tai/Obigbo Federal Constituency will continue to be a strong base of the progressives family.

Eze further highlighted that this act of benevolence and enviable representation by the Peoples Law Maker has put fear into the midst of PDP Leadership in Rivers State as thousands of PDP Faithful from this zone have decamped to APC thereby making the Eleme/Tai/Obigbo federal Constituency one of the safest zones for APC

Furthermore, Eze criticized comments credited to the Chairman of the Rivers State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, Amb. Desmond Akawo who disclosed and exposed the latest satanic plot of PDP and his misguided agents in APC; reassuring his makeshift supporters that APC will not be reflected in the ballot paper come 2023, describing such a satanic statement as expression of fear and cowardice by the PDP State Chairman who have lost touch with reality and has become irrelevant in the politics of his zone based on the towering presence of Hon. Chisom Dike, Chief Gift Okete and other APC Stakeholders as we are fully aware of his deep revelation of another looming satanic conspiracy between the umbrella party and some persons who have continued to claim membership of the All Progressives Congress, even when they have refused to comply with the lawful directive of the National Leadership of the party on membership revalidation.

The party chief said Gov. Wike and the People’s Democratic Party are scheming to frustrate the chances of the All Progressives Congress, to field candidates and participate in the forthcoming 2023 elections because it is public knowledge that the Rivers Governor and his umbrella party have got nothing to offer the people and are no match to the APC in any ramification, and so to win any election, they device means to stop the APC and her candidates from participating in the process.

Assuring that their evil gambit this time around will meet its waterloo, the party staunch assured that the Rivers APC will field candidates, participate and convincingly win the 2023 elections in Rivers State, stressing that the party is already aware of their political gimmicks, and has already put mechanisms in place to respond to every satanic stratagem devised to deny River people the opportunity of responsible leadership, noting that the people cannot afford another unfortunate development of a mediocre administering the state for another four years.
