The Honourable Member representing Awka North Constituency, Anambra state, John Nwokoye, has embarked on tree planting exercise in the state.
“Planting of trees is important as they improve the life and fulfill essential needs of mankind.” He says.
The tree planting exercise was done by Hon. John Nwokoye, who joined the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Uche Okafor within the ABS premises.
I planted a tree at the premises, alongside the State Commissioner of Police, Mr John Abang; the Honourable Commissioner of Information, Mr C-don Adinuba; and the MD of ABS, Nze Uche Nworah, who was ably represented by Mr Paul Ezeoke.
It was hosted by Rotary club, Awka Metropolis, and led by its president, Mr Okoye Fabian Chukwunonso.
Ndi Anambra are encouraged by the State Government to consider planting of trees that have economical and nutritional values.
