AWGBU AGOG AS HON. OBINNA OKOYE WED HIS HEARTTHROB – CHIAMAKA UDEH
Never had it been in the history of Awgbu community in Orumba North Local Government Area of Anambra state the kind of massive and aggressive turnout of the who is who in Anambra state and beyond.
Awgbu witnessed overwhelming crowd from all walks of life on Tuesday, 8th of September 2020, as Hon. Obinna Okoye and Miss Chiamaka Udeh said ‘I do, I do’.
The event which started with Holy Mass at St. Joesph’s Parish Awgbu at 10am, was highly attended by over 20 Revered Fathers, Revered Sisters, members of CYON, family members and many dignitaries. The homilist advised them to love, cherish and respect one another. Everyone prayed for God’s blessings on them as they exchanged their marital vows.
The reception which took place at Abonato hall was indeed gathering of eagles. Despite the fact that it was on a weekday, many dignitaries from all walks of life were there present including many House members, many commissioners, SSAs, SAs, and EAs to Governor, representatives from Anambra state government, many clubs, associations and groups. All Awgbu elites were also there present, infact it was very wonderful event.
The chairman of the occasion Hon. Emeka Aforka, member representing Orumba North in Anambra State House of Assemblies, wished them goodluck as the Sponsor of the occasion, Hon. ThankGod Kenechukwu Ibeh (Ezeebunafor n’Awgbu) and APGA Frontline aspirant for Anambra state 2021 gubernatorial election thanked everyone present.
Hon. Obinna Okoye is the SA to Governor Willie Obiano on Culture and Tourism and the DG of Uzokamma Foundation and the CEO of AgukaAgu Fumigation Services, while his newly wedded wife, Miss Chiamaka Rita Udeh is a first class graduate of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka and the best graduating student of her department.
