Udung Ukpong Community is witnessing a new dimension of development as former Member Representing Oron Federal Constituency, Akwa Ibom State, Hon. Robinson Uwak installs street lights across the length and breath of the Town.

The community was agog as friends of Honourable Uwak arrived the area to inspect the Solar-Powered Street Lights he provided for them.

Speaking briefly on behalf of the team, Hon. Monday Johnson thanked Udung Ukpong Community for the continuous support they have been showering on the former Law Maker.

He further maintained that the street Lights were provided to protect nightlife and boost security in the area.

Responding, the youths representative Mr. Bardone, thanked Hon. Uwak for always showing care and support.

“Our sincere appreciation goes to the people’s member, Hon. Uwak for providing us with Solar Street Lights to brighten some dark spots that had become hubs for crime and criminality at night.

This critical infrastructure has been handed over to the community, as such it is our collective responsibility to protect it from vandalism.”he said.

Meanwhile, inhabitants of Udung Ukpong Community are full of praises for Hon. Uwak for his all-time magnanimity.
