How I Was Offered Money To Accept Andy Uba As APC Guber Candidate

The Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr. Chris Ngige has revealed how he rejected financial inducement to accept that Andy Uba emerged as the APC Governorship Candidate in the just concluded Gubernatorial Election in Anambra State.

 

Ngige who made this known while addressing APC Members in his Hometown, Alor stated that he rejected the Money because it was against his conscience

 

Ngige who disclosed that he came from Abuja to participate in the Primary but he couldn’t vote because he didn’t see any Electoral materials.

 

He added that he later put a call across the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Primary Election Committee and Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun and told him no Election was held.


Ngige said he was surprised that Governor Abiodun went ahead to Announce the Results of a Primary Election that never took place and further declared Senator Andy Uba as Winner with over 230,000 Votes.

 

Even though, He did not disclose those who offered him Money to accept Andy Uba as the APC Candidate and say that the Election held, Ngige revealed that he rejected the financial offer and told the person that he has all the money he needed.
