One of President Muhammadu Buhari’s closest allies, Alhaji Ismaila Isa Funtua, is dead.

He died on Monday from a yet to be disclosed cause after falling ill for less than two hours.

Funtua is touted to be a member of the ‘Cabal’, a group of influential persons around Nigeria’s President said to help him take key decisions.

Here are few things you really need to know about Ismaila Isa Funtua.

Samaila Isa Funtua, a key member of d Aso Rock cabal who only a few weeks ago was waxing omniscient about the future during an interview with Reuben Abati (essentially saying Igbo pple can’t be president in 2023), is dead.

If he died of COVID-19 as someone said, there’s more trouble

Another big cabal has fallen. This time around, it’s Isa Funtua, the man who controls the forex market in Nigeria is dead. Pray for him, please.

Also, Jackson Ude brought a lot of secrecy to the open about the late Member of the cabal few weeks ago, they include how the forex market has been done out of favour to the Nigeria market.

And finally, in an interview with Channel TV few weeks ago, Isa Funtua made it clear that he does not believe in the equality or justice for the Igbo(Which literally if you watched the video well, stated the Igbo does not have a place in Nigeria, and also stated that the Igbo do not deserve presidency come 2023.

The Biafra leader replied towards his death

Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has reacted to the death of President Muhammadu Buhari’s close associate, Isa Funtua.

Funtua had died on Monday shortly after suffering cardiac arrest.

Nnamdi Kanu, reacting to the death of President Muhammadu Buhari’s close associate, Isa Funtua on his Facebook page described Funtua as an architect of Operation Python Dance.

According to him, 2020 is Biafra year because people who swore it would never come to pass were now dieing.

He wrote: “Another architect of Operation Python Dance is gone. Three down, two more to go.

“All those that swore they would never live to see Biafra are all slowly leaving the stage. This proves that Biafra is imminent and 2020 is our year.”

Sowore in an interview also stated that, “Isa Funtua is an arrogant old man while he was alive, he made mention of how Isa Funtua and one of the Gambari visited him in cell and told him to renounce his revolution evolution and specifically that Isa Funtua told him that nobody fights the government and win.”
