How LASTMA caused accident at Iya Alaro area and what Police did

At about 10.30am on Tuesday, 19th April, an accident occured at Odo Iya Alaro area, involving a Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) bus. The cause was alleged to be Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) officers operating in a danfo bus, who while trying to cross 2 SUVs for driving on the BRT lane, led to the sudden stop of a BRT bus and the BRT bus was hit by a Coaster bus from behind.

How LASTMA caused accident at Iya Alaro area and what Police did

Passengers already suffering inconvenience of the BRT bus filled to the brim, with lots standing, were jolted badly.

The passengers got down, one of them was taking pictures, and the next thing, the police officer attached to the LASTMA team snatched the phone from the woman, and smashed it on the floor.
