How To Stop Images and Videos from Groups Downloading into your Phone from Whatsapp

When we are attached to many WhatsApp group, we have a common problem and risk of low phone space because of the many images and videos shared by members. If you mistakenly join a group with more Indians, you can bet to have automatic downloads of videos and images, mostly +18s.

To solve this problem  you  can use a WhatsApp feature where you can see the pics in group only, without saving them to your phone.

Simply follow the steps below:

1) Open the group

2. Click on 3 dots shown on the top right corner in the group.

2) Click on the first option i.e. GROUP INFO

3) Three options shown below the group name i.e. mute notifications, custom notification, Media visiblity

4) Click on the third option MEDIA VISIBILITY

5)Click on “No” option

Now the media will not be saved in your phone but it will display only in your group chats.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

You only get to do this for each group, less complaint if you are one of those that join multiple Whatsapp groups.

Now that you know, act and inform others.

This feature is only available in Group.
