I don’t think NCDC is getting it Right! – Opinion

I just feel NCDC should move beyond announcing Covid-19 results and testing. Their duty is to control and prevent the Covid-19 pandemic.

With the increasing protest by Covid-19 patient, issues around palliatives, corruption around security agencies on Covid-19 special duty, direct accusations of NCDC by some State Governors, protest by Nigerians leading to outright violation of NCDC directives, lack of synergy between the FG and some State Governors etc, the NCDC seems not to have won the trust of Nigerians in recent days

The Buhari’s administration must listen attentively because the war on Covid-19 seems not yielding positive results. Only sincerity can win the fight against Covid-19.

Despite Government efforts, real impact seems not to be felt because there is so much indiscipline, unaccountability, suspicion and lack of co-ordination by both the Government, it’s agencies and the citizens.

I feel someone is telling the president lies. How can we get so much given for palliative and the FG cannot give food to help those tested positive in some States. The case of people eating money to sabotage FG efforts as it was in Boko Haram days seems to be repeating itself in the fight against Covid 19 in Nigeria.

Something is still not done rightly and those around the President should advice him rightly.
