Former senate president and member of Atiku Abubakar Campaign Organisation, Bukola Saraki has said that he regret marketing the ruling All Progressive Congress to Nigerians.
It would be recalled that Saraki was among the members of the Peoples Democratic Party that defected to the All Progressive Congress prior to 2015 election.
Dr. Bukola Saraki went on to become the senate president under APC platform.
However, Speaking to Arise Tv in an exclusive interview, the Former senate president blamed himself for being part of people that contributed to the emergence of the All Progressive Congress.
According to him, he regretted his action. He said despite being part of the People that sold APC, he retracted his step when it became obvious that the party cannot deliver on its campaign promises.
“I was one of those who came in and sold the All Progressive Congress to Nigerians but I realised very early that we are not going to deliver on the promises we made being made. I Regret Selling APC To Nigerians” the former Senate President said.
