“I take the good with the bad. I can’t love people in slices.” – – There are good people, and there are bad people, but there are also good people who are not perfect. One cannot love people in bits, or slices, if we love anyone we must love wholly, there is no such love as half-hearted love. The imperfections of a good man will sometimes make him seem like a bad person, but we must always carry with us the knowledge, and understanding of human imperfections.

Eric Burdon once said, “Inside each of us, there is the seed of both good and evil. It’s a constant struggle as to which one will win. And one cannot exist without the other.” without evil, there will be no need for good, our mind is a battlefield for these two, and the one we feed most always win the battle. We therefore must be conscious of what, and how we tailor our thought patterns, because it is what we allow that rules our mind.

In the words of Marcus Aurelius once said, “Life is neither good or evil, but only a place for good and evil.” life is neither good, or evil, but good, and evil thrives to the degree to which we allow it. We all have our opinion of what we think is good, or bad, but we must understand that the definition of good, and bad is devoid of our personal opinion, but on what reality spells. We must therefore seek to know more, and understand the true perspectives of life, and things.

Evil thrives when good is asleep, and it threatens peace, and love wherever it is found, but when good arises, love, peace, unity, and justice becomes a constant companion. Evil is like a disease, good is like an antidote that cures, and eradicate evil; evil destroys, but good builds; evil brings hate, good breeds love. We must decide what side of the divide we will take, and stick to it. Though we expect perfection, and optimum performance from everyone, we must learn to live with every human according to their imperfections, and together we will build a better world.
