David Ofurum, one of the fastest rising stars in the Nollywood industry and a consummate actor in Linjust comedy.
Below are the excerpts:
How was your Birthday Celebration?
It was awesome; I felt so honored being celebrated by my friends and family. I received thousands of outpouring of birthday messages and gifts especially from my Facebook friends. It was full of fun. I was really celebrated by my friends.
After this Birthday, what next?
I have been so busy with my academic pursuits. I am a 400 level student of History and International Relations from Imo State University. I am working on my academic research paper, so I really don’t want to be distracted, because I want to get the best of my academic studies.
It seems you love entertainment?
Yes, I am a very big fan of Entertainment.
Aside featuring in Linjust Comedy skits, what else do you do?
I am a movie actor. I am eternally grateful to Linjust Entertainment for bringing me to limelight. It was while working in Linjust comedy skits that I got invitation to start acting movies. I have featured in 3 movies at the moment, namely Chinagorom, Tenant in Trouble, and Soul of a Viper.
Since I entered my final year in school, I have received many offers coming in every now and then, but I actually don’t accept them because I want to concentrate on my academic studies. I will return fully into acting after my graduation from the university. Acting is my passion and talent.
Do you have any regret so far in life?
Not at all.
What are your likes and dislikes?
I like jokes, music, comedy, traveling, and playing football. I dislike gossips, lies and uninspiring people.
Advice for the Youth
Be relentlessly hardworking, learn a skill today. Don’t be lazy. Be patient. Start a business today, no matter how small it is. Stop procrastination, stop over-dependence on your parents, and always look for legitimate means of making money.
