The Executive Chairman of Ikot Ekpene Local Government Council, Hon. Unyime Etim has shown commitment to support Entertainers in the area.

He made this known to the public while giving his speech in an event tagged “#FacebookParty2018” which was held at Ikot Ekpene Plaza on Sunday 27th May, 2018, organized by Raffia City Entertainers (RCE).

This is the first time in history entertainers in Ikot Ekpene will get recognition and recommendation from the Council Chairman since its creation.

The Chairman who came with his entourage (Ward Councilors and Aides) said that he is impressed to see the youths in the area coming together to put up such a social gathering. He added that “#FacebookParty2018” is a true indication that peace has been restored in Ikot Ekpene the Raffia City.

The Council Boss also added that developed country are driven by creativity and why the youths are involve in cultism and other negative social vices is because they are not creative.

“As part of my campaign promises, I will support Entertainment in Ikot Ekpene as I also intend to work with Raffia City Entertainers in making sure that raw talents are promoted to an International level”. He added.

Before handing the Microphone to the MCs (Mc Gentility and Mc Calculus), the Chairman congratulated the organizers (Raffia City Entertainers) and made a donation of One Hundred Thousand Naira (N100,000) for more development in the forum.
