In 2019, the APC lost the House of Representatives seat to the PDP not because the APC was not popular. It was as a result of the fact that APC members deserted their candidate, Donald Ojogo, and voted the PDP candidate, Hon. Kolade Akinjo owing to either immediate gratification or intemperate emotion. Today, he is using the same position to cater for his party members and promote his political party. Meanwhile, those APC members who voted him lack a sense of entitlement and are now feeling the brunt of their electoral action.

The only way, no any other ways, to change the scenario is for all of us in the APC to vote our own candidate massively. We are in the majority and all the factors to win this election are in our favour. if we show unusual commitment to our own candidate, Donald Ojogo, we shall record a landslide victory in the forthcoming elections. What it means is that you will continue to enjoy what had eluded you with full sense of belonging.

The PDP in our Federal Constituency will soon come up with a deceptive contraption that you give me your vote for House of Representatives and I will reciprocate by voting your presidential candidate. It is a decoy to hoodwink you, don’t accept the offer. Our House of Representatives and the Senate elections are as important as the presidential election. I can assure you, with unwavering commitment and dint of effort, we shall mop the floor with them just like Garibaldi defeated the Neapolitan army.
