Hon. Innocent Offordile distances himself from alleged illegal revenue collectors arrested by the Police.

Hon Innocent Offordile popularly known as Eselu has distanced himself from the 3 illegal revenue collectors that were arrested by the Police.

He stated emphatically that he did not send them to do what they allegedly did.

Eselu did not also mince words in saying that as the the head of Anambra State government enforcement team that his job brief did not include collecting illegal revenue on the road from motorists and that he have been warning those arrested not to get involved in such act because he knows very well that the Governor frowns at it.

He further said that any attempt to rope him into such case by his traducers will fail because his hands are clean.

He told the alleged illegal revenue collectors arrested by the Police to go and collect their clothes where they had their bath and urged the Police to bring the full weight of the law on them for going against the Governor order because doing that will serve as a deterrent to others.
