Here is an immediate solution to traffic robbery as suggested by Yaya Abiodun Babatunde

The Govenor of Lagos State, Commissioner of Police, Military and all other Security Agencies including Traffic Personnels must take responsibility to protect the people from Traffic Robbery with the followings –

1. The Government need to encourage and fortify all Security Personnels in order to work effectively.

2. The Government need to aid the Security Personnels work at Dark Hours by ensuring all Street Light are functioning.

3. There should be a pronouncement that no more trading or hawking in traffic both at day or night.

4. Nobody should be seen walking or trekking in between vehicles in traffic for any reason as people could only move on walk way.

5. Anyone seen walking in between vehicles in traffic should be arrested as suspected traffic robber.

6. The presence of Security Personnels should be more on our roads.

7. There should be a Toll Line to call for assistance should any vehicle broke down in traffic so the Security Personnels can respond to thereby assist the motorist in getting the car off the road to a safe place.

8. The broke down vehicle should use C – Caution immediately to divert traffic pending the arrival of the Security Personnels.

9. All Vehicles owners to also ensure their Vehicle are in good condition before setting out so as to have less broken down Vehicles on the road.

It is sad that we have Police, Military, Civil Defence, LNSC, FRSC, VIO, LASTMA and others yet we are experiencing Traffic Robbery on daily basis.

To every problems we are faced with, there’s solutions and that’s only if the Government is ready to act in the right direction.
