J. S. Okutepa: Politicians do not place values on Nigerians.

” When I watched Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State kneeling down begging kogi people today to forgive Yahaya Bello for failure of governance in that State just because election is on 16th of November 2019, I came to the conclusion that Nigerian politicians can take us for granted.

Yahaya Bello is young and he is bound to make mistakes he said. Mistakes I laughed. Mistakes?. What mistakes.
Yahaya Bello as an accidental Governor who had power foisted on him by providence was behaving in government as if there was no tomorrow.

He became synonymous with such characters as Herod and Nebuchadnezarr in the Bible.
Nobody matters to him except himself and his cronies. Forgiveness is a function of true repentance.Did he confess to Nasir El-Rufai. Kogi people want to know what he confessed to El-Rufai.

What happened to those who lost their lives under Bello Bello tyrannical and mis-governance.

Let Yahaya Bello first confess his sins. What happened to our bail out funds. Why were workers not paid.
Let him tell us why in more than three years there is no visible evidence of good governance. He must be punished for his audacity of arrogance.
He acted like emperor. Yahaya Bello must explain to us in Kogi why he so desecrated the constitution and the institutions of government.

He disregarded law and order and had no respect for judicial pronouncements including orders of supreme court.

Bello must be punished to know the power of the people. It is too late to seek forgiveness when the corpse is in the mortuary of democracy. It is to late to cry when the head is off. Let the people decide in free and fair election. The day of reckoning is here”.
