Jackson Adewale Ayika has emerged the 2019/2020 IBILE Youth, Ikorodu Divisional Ambassador.

 

Jackson Adewale Ayika emerged Divisional Ambassador at the the leadership initiative, projected and aimed at inculcating in youths the virtue of Citizenship, Leadership, and Voluntarism for the development of themselves, their society.


The workshop championed by Lagos State Government Ministry of Youth and Social Development ended her annual Youth Leadership Academy of the Five (5) Division in Lagos State namely; Ikeja, Badagry, Ikorodu, Lagos and Epe (IBILE).

Its aimed at inculcating in the Youth the virtue of Citizenship, Leadership, and Voluntarism for the development of themselves, their society, Lagos State and by extension Nigeria at large.

 

The Leadership academy are done in two (2) phases.

The first phase is a five (5) days training of over 100 youths at the youth centres across the five (5) division in Lagos State, while the second phase (after the five (5) days training), ten (10) best participant will be selected at each division to make a total number of fifty (50) participants to compete at the State level, the competition at the state level is done for 6days, full of enormous task execution as an individual and as a team, more of impactful trainings, presentation and many more, at the end of it all, Eleven (11) best amongst the 50 Ambassadors are selected, 1 STATE YOUTH AMBASSADOR, 5 DIVISIONAL YOUTH AMBASSADOR and 5 DEPUTY DIVISIONAL YOUTH AMBASSADOR from the five (5) divisions in Lagos State namely; Ikeja, Badagry, Ikorodu, Lagos and Epe, this selected ambassadors will be the Voice of the Youth on Social Development, serve as Team Lead and work effectively to ensure outstanding performance of the youthful potentials in other to utilized them for assets at the State level and across their respective divisions.

 

Jackson Adewale Ayika after coming out as the overall best in Ikorodu Division, emerge as the 2019/2020 Lagos State IBILE Youth, Ikorodu Divisional Ambassador while Alonge Layoladedayo Tẹmilade emerged Deputy Divisional Ambassador.

Speaking with Gbetu Tv, Adewale says, “However, I must confess that the Lagos State Government through its Ministry of Youth and Social Development has indeed invested in us, therefore we have no excuse or option than to give back to our community and invest in our youth because, this leadership training is the best thing that has ever happen to me and i assure the youth of Ikorodu to anticipate proper Representation, Creativity, and Impactful moment come 2020.”

He also appreciated the Governor of Lagos state, Minister of Youth and Social Development and others, saying greatness has been incubated.

 

“I’ll like to appreciate the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Governor, Babajide Sanwo Olu,The Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Youth and Social Development, Mr Segun Dawodu, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Youth and Social Development, Mrs Yetunde Falugba, The Leadership Academy Coordinator, Mrs Rashidat Umar and everyone who contributed to the success of the 2019 IBILE Youth Academy as greatness was indeed incubated in a generation of world leaders who are ready to take their flight.”
