Popular Zimbabwean musician, Jah Prayzah has been accused of sleeping with married women and warned to stop.
The allegation was made by Zimbabwean Member of Parliament (MP) Temba Mlisiwa on Twitter.
Mukudzeyi Mukombe, who performs under the stage name Jah Prayzah, is a Zlead member of the band Third Generation. He is popularly referred to by fans and media as “Musoja”, the Shona word for “soldier”, a name he earned mostly because of his signature band uniform of military regalia. The name “Jah Prayzah” comes from his name, “Mukudzeyi”, which means “Praise Him”.
According to Mlisiwa, the top musician coax women to sleep with him on the promise that he will take care of them and their children.
“We are not pained by your success but your habit is wrong. You are bringing confusion into people’s lives.” The M.P said.
He therefore called on Jah Prayzah to stop his habit of engaging married women to sleep with them.
“You need to stop the habit of sleeping with Married women or women engaged to other men on the promise that you will take care of them and their children,” Mlisiwa said.
“It has become your practice and as someone whose music I enjoyed very much, this habit of yours is very unfortunate and pathetic “- The independent legislator of Norton Constituency (Zimbabwe) cried out on Twitter.
Jah Prayzah is yet to respond on the allegations leveled against him.
The tweet went viral on social media causing users to insinuate the pair were fighting over a woman.
This is smear and slander.

Journalist Hopewell Chin’ono defended Jah Prayzah saying, “This is a low blow @TembaMliswa These so called married and engaged women are adults who define their lives. Why does this suddenly come out after @jahprayzah was detained at the airport after playing a concert at Mugabe’s son-in-law’s birthday? Don’t persecute the young man!”
