Jeremiah Olatinwo accuses Ogun of property theft

Jeremiah Olatinwo accuses Ogun government of property theft

As a social media enthusiast and digital marketing expert, on the 25th of March, in response to the global pandemic – COVID-19, I designed a media campaign themed END COVID-19 WITH SWAG. It was widely accepted and distributed on social media.

But yesterday evening, I got a call from a friend who saw and also shared my creative work that the Ogun State government has plagiarised my concept – word for word, color for color without giving due credit.

To my amazement the design was up on all social media platforms of the Ogun State government – Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.

I made attempt to reach their social media team but they didn’t respond.

This is to inform the general public, the press and the global community that the SWAG concept being bandied on Ogun State Government social media platform is an initiative and concept of JEREMIAH OLATINWO.

Due compensation is expected for the creative work and their plagiarism.

I seek the support of good willing Nigerians to push this and share on all your walls till it gets to the notice of Ogun state government.

The design is attached herewith alongside the plagiarised version.

Anonymous :

There is no issues attached to the government using what a citizen of their country or state created out of his/her creativity.

But there is a big issues when they do not acknowledge the person, or give any form of notification which shows that the work does not belong to them.

Let live in a world where young minds ain’t scared of being creative because they know there creativity will be stolen.  Young people out there needs encouragement to improve on their level of creativity, a little appreciation, a little token, and a little words of encouragement would do.
