Elida Geisha Natural: About the World Most Expensive Coffee, How will you drink it?

Elida Geisha Natural

How will you drink the World Most Expensive Coffee which is worth $75 which is about Twenty Seven Thousand Nigerian Naira?

This currently is the world’s most expensive cup of coffee. A single cup is sold $75 by  Klatch Coffee’s in California and it is called the “Elida Geisha Natural“.

The  recorded an income record of $803 per pound at auction and cost nearly $1,200 a pound after roasting, according to CNN affiliate KGO in San Francisco.

“This coffee is not over roasted like what you get at other places. It’s roasted how coffee used to be roasted back in the day,” said Bo Thiara, co-owner of Klatch’s new Northern California location.

A Francisco resident Lauren Svensson, said it was “very different” from any coffee she’d ever tasted.

“My mind was a little blown about the fact that a $75 cup of coffee even exists,” she said, “but it was shockingly good.”

Her friend, Charlie Sinhaseni, also gave his free sample a positive review.

“When I first looked at it, I thought it would be hyper pretentious, and I would think of all the different notes for the coffee, but I was too busy enjoying it,” he said.
